I was looking at the Spiritual Impact Stories and found this new testimony from Kenya.
Loiliapu comes from Lolgese PAG Church in Samburu County. He received his gift from his teacher and went home a happy child. On the second Sunday after the outreach event, Loliapu, who lost his mother in 2021, came accompanied by Letoole, his grandfather. His grandfather gave his life to Christ that Sunday, and his grandmother later received the gift of salvation as well.
Letoole told the church that the boy had said to him, ‘Maape todua ng’oji natumie apa kuna tokitin supati,’ which in the Samburu dialect means ‘Come and see where I got these good gifts.’ He continued, ‘I was really depressed because of the death of my daughter, but when this young boy Loiliapu told me to come and see where he got the gift, I followed him, and now I feel like a big burden has been lifted off my heart.”
The story of Loiliapu depicts the impact that the outreach events are making in the lives of the Samburu nomads, an Unreached People Group in north Kenya. (2024)
